Why are most assistive devices costly?
Considering the availability of assistive devices, the demand and supply are not up to the mark. Most of the assistive technologies and standalone products are in the initial stages and would require a big investment to push their production possibility. Also, local demand, purchasing power, and product duplication are the other reasons which keep these products at a higher price.
