Thus, there are many benefits and concessions which the persons with disabilties are entitled to avail just like students, the elderly, children and all other sections of our social structure.
Before we dive into the documents required to avail the bus concessions, which is our main focus here, first let us understand the various concessions you are entitled for:
•State-run transport corporation bus concessions:
• People with disabilities can avail of reduced
fares on State-run transport corporation buses.
• The exact concession amount and eligibility
criteria may vary depending on the state.
• The Rehabilitation Council of India is the apex government body, set up under an Act of Parliament, to regulate training programmes and courses targeted at disabled, disadvantaged, and special education requirement communities.

The Disability Certificate/Aadhaar Card issued by Government of India/Chief Medical Officer/Competent Medical Officer of the concerned Divyangjan will be marked in the records.

List will be preserved by getting the signature of the disabled person traveling.
